Over a million smiles & growing!

Certainly success isn’t in measured in numbers, but it has been incredibly fulfilling putting smiles on the faces of so many kids over the last 10 years with Operation Christmas Child. This year in the Visayas region we worked in lesser developed areas on the islands of Bohol and Siquijor. Working in these areas is a special privilege because both the children & the pastors are so easy to please. Some pastors said that it was their most fulfilling time of their whole ministry to see these children come to Christ and be able to minister to their parents in a real and tangible way. The children had never received such nice gifts and many open doors for sharing the gospel were forged. Plans are already gearing up for next years distributions in the islands of Leyte & Samar. Samar is one of the least evangelized islands of the Philippines so there is tremendous potential for God to do something really significant.

Saralee and I returned a couple weeks ago from the US and it’s always encouraging to be back home with our incredible staff and teams of volunteers at Quest Community Fellowship. It’s hard to believe all that God has done in less than five years. Quest has grown to over four hundred attending our worship and new families are present each week. Of course our attenders are mostly Filipino but we even have people attending from Korea, Kenya, New Zealand, UK and the Czech Republic. God is doing great things in our city and we are excited to be a part of so many connecting with their Heavenly Father.
